The full story
"Hadra" in Arabic (Øضرة) means "Presence". Etymologically, it refers to the collective trance practiced during ceremonies of Moroccan religious brotherhoods, such as the "Issawas" and "Gnaoua", and is also a significant element in the rituals of the mystical "Sufi orders".

Additionally, Hadra signifies being "Present in the moment". The Arabic term literally translates to "Divine Presence", with the human experience of this presence known as "Hudur".

The Hadra project aims to provide participants with an experience of collective consciousness and inner presence, aligning with our purpose of returning to our true essence through music.

This project is designed for those who wish to leave the external world behind and return to their purest form, detoxifying and cleansing their soul, mind, and spirit.

Disconnect to truly reconnect with nature and your surroundings, so you can return to the outside world stronger and more peaceful.

Mission
Hadra is a non-profit project born from Maison Soleil, created with the intention of reconnecting humanity to the essence of presence, community, and healing.

Rooted in the sacred landscapes of the Moroccan desert and carried across the world, Hadra is not a festival, it is a soul gathering, a living ritual where music, art, and ceremony become pathways to remembrance.

Our mission is to create spaces of deep connection, where modern distractions are left behind, and each participant is guided through a sonic healing journey into the NOW.
Over several transformative days, we attune to higher states of awareness through sound, movement, poetry, and contemplation, fostering mental, physical, and spiritual healing.

Hadra is also an act of reciprocity: a bridge between cultures, honoring the wisdom of Morocco, supporting the nomadic communities of Merzouga, and offering opportunities to their children.

Every edition of Hadra is an invitation to:
- Awaken from habitual patterns
- Reconnect with nature, tribe, and self
- Co-create in joy and truth
- Remember what it means to live fully present

Hadra is our prayer made real, a sanctuary for those who seek depth, beauty, and belonging, and a collective offering to the spirit of humanity.
